Scope

This privacy policy provides users with information about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider. The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Collection of general information

With each access to this offer, information is automatically collected by us or the web space provider. This information, also referred to as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Among other things, the following information is collected: Name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the contents of the website. In this respect, the collection of the data is mandatory. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if we suspect illegal use of our offer.

Dealing with personal data

Definition: Personal data is any information that uniquely identifies a person. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person.

This personal data includes the first name and surname, telephone number and e-mail address. Also considered personal data is information on hobbies, memberships and preferences, as well as Internet pages that have been accessed.

This data is only collected, used and, if necessary, passed on by the provider if this is expressly permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection, processing, use and passing on of the data.

Registration on our website

If you register on our website in order to make use of personalized services, personal data will be collected. This includes the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address as contact and communication data.

Registration enables access to services and content that are only available to registered users. If necessary, registered users have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time. Upon request, we will of course inform you which personal data has been collected and stored. In addition, we will correct or delete the data upon request, provided that the request does not conflict with any legal obligations to retain data. For queries as well as your request for correction or deletion of data, please use the contact details provided in this privacy policy.

Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we use the data you enter exclusively for this purpose or to inform you about circumstances relevant to this service or registration. We do not share this data with third parties.

A valid (valid) e-mail address is required to receive the newsletter. Also stored are the IP address used to register for the newsletter and the date on which you order the newsletter. This data serves us as proof in case of misuse, if a foreign e-mail address is registered for the newsletter. To further ensure that an e-mail address is not improperly entered into our distribution list by third parties, we work in accordance with the law with the so-called "double opt-in" procedure. Within the framework of this procedure, the ordering of the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the registration confirmation are logged.

You have the option at any time to revoke your consent to the storage of data, your e-mail address and its use for the newsletter dispatch. For the revocation, we provide you with a link in each newsletter and on the website. You also have the option of informing us of your wish to revoke via the contact options mentioned in this document.

Contact form

If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we store the information you provide in order to answer your inquiry and to be able to ask possible follow-up questions.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our offer sometimes includes content, services and performances of other providers. These include, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is mandatory. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") therefore perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Even though we strive to use only third-party providers that only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among other things. If we have knowledge that the IP address is stored, we inform our users of this.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer from the server. They contain information about the browser, IP address, operating system and Internet connection. We do not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent.

Cookies fulfill two main tasks. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our offer and enable the correct display of the website. They are not used to introduce viruses or to launch programs.

Users have the option of accessing our offer without cookies. To do this, the appropriate settings must be changed in the browser. Please use the help function of your browser to find out how to deactivate cookies. However, we would like to point out that this may impair some of the functions of this website and reduce user comfort. The http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) sites allow you to manage online ad cookies.

Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or required by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or the storage period ends, we block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to request information, free of charge, about the personal data stored by us and/or to request correction, blocking or deletion. Exceptions: It is the mandatory data storage for business processing or the data is subject to the legal obligation to retain.

For these purposes, please contact our data protection officer.

In order to be able to consider a data block at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a blocking file for control purposes. If there is no legal archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so wish.

Change of our privacy policy

In order to ensure that our privacy policy always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection statement will then apply the next time you visit our website.
